La lanzadora estadounidense trabajó toda la ruta, mostrando dominio, control y temple en momentos clave del encuentro. Su capacidad para ajustar ante la ofensiva rival fue determinante para asegurar el primer juego de la serie.
The American right-hander went the distance, displaying command, composure, and poise in key situations. Her ability to adjust against the opposing lineup proved decisive in securing the opening game of the series.
Al finalizar el encuentro, Gottshall compareció ante los medios y reconoció que el momento estuvo cargado de emociones.
“En ese momento sentí muchas emociones… incluso quería llorar, pero al mismo tiempo pensaba que tenía que volver al campo. Es increíble tener a nuestros aficionados y poder compartir este momento con ellos”, expresó.
After the game, Gottshall met with the media and admitted the moment was filled with emotion.
“In that moment I felt so many emotions… I kind of wanted to cry, but at the same time I knew I needed to walk back in. It’s just so cool to have our fans and be able to share this moment with them,” she said.

“Gracias por su apoyo y sigan viniendo. Vamos a estar en playoffs, no hay duda de eso. Todas pensamos lo mismo: lo vamos a lograr, pase lo que pase. Solo sigan apoyándonos”.

When asked about her message to Monterrey’s fans, she spoke with conviction.
“Thank you for your support and keep coming out. We’re making the playoffs — there’s no doubt about that. We all believe the same thing: we’re going to make it, no matter what. Just keep supporting us.”
